SGIAA Announces Membership with NSW Business Chamber

The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association of Australia (SGIAA) has combined with the NSW Business Chamber (NSWBC) creating a stronger voice with government, as well as providing additional advice and support services for the members of SGIAA.

“There has never been a better time to be a member of SGIAA. The Association’s membership with the NSW Business Chamber will provide more services and value to members in the areas of HR, IR and WHS, allowing them to get on with the job of running their business,” said Clem Johnson, SGIAA,Federal President.

“Our members will continue to receive the support benefits of their specialised Association. Now they will also receive additional benefits from the NSW Business Chamber; with access to a broad range of services through the SGIAA executive.

The additional benefits that will be available through the membership include:

  • National Workplace Advice Line (132959) – connects members to a workplace specialist when they have a workplace relations issue or question including wages and allowances, termination of employment, long service leave, superannuation and other workplace compliance and management matters.
  • National Industrial Relations Awards Servicing (132959) - when you need help interpreting any of the conditions or elements of the Award. Members simply call the Workplace Advice Line for sound, trusted advice on what it means for your business.

Stephen Cartwright, CEO of the NSW Business Chamber, said members of SGIAA, face challenges with the national workplace relations system, the national harmonisation of Work Health and Safety regulations, and the everyday pressures of finding skills, dealing with red tape, inadequate infrastructure, and low growth rates. NSW Business Chamber has the resources to help SGIAA member businesses, through their valued Association.

Members who would like to know more about the Chamber should, in the first instance, contact
